No – Please do not shower or partake in activities near water while wearing your pendant, as it is not waterproof. Home & Mobile Guardian both pair with Medical Alert Wearables, which are water resistant and available for purchase through Medical Guardian. Please consider adding a Medical Alert Wearable to your order to utilize while showering – as 80% of all household falls happen within the bathroom.
No – Do not sleep while wearing your pendant to avoid dislodging the magnetic closure or having the lanyard become a potential safety hazard. Please switch to your Home or Mobile Guardian accessories before going to sleep.
No – You cannot speak to an operator through the button. After pressing the button on your device, you will speak to an operator through the 2-way speaker system on your Home or Mobile Guardian.

The pendants and chains are easily cleaned with soapy water and a soft cloth – gently using a toothbrush on places where there are deeper details. Be sure to never fully submerge your device into water while cleaning or during wear, as it is not waterproof.
