Smarti Voice Assist tells you your device’s battery level and cellular network strength. This device is serviced through AT&T. You can also do your testing through our voice response system (You can test your device totally on your own!)

This area picks up your voice when speaking with our emergency operator.

This is where audio from the emergency operator comes through once an emergency alarm has been initiated.

The power button turns on and off the device.

This is the location where the power source is inserted from the outlet to the Home 2.0. The Home 2.0 Backup Battery device lasts up to 32 hours.

This is the slot on the base station SIM chip provides cellular connection with Home 2.0.

Cleaning Home 2.0

We recommend that you clean Home 2.0 weekly to help ensure proper charging.

Using a soft cloth, gently rub the charging contacts on both the device and cradle to remove dirt, oil, and debris. You can use household cleaner, but be sure to spray it onto the cloth and not the device surface.

Using the Interchangeable Help Button with Your Necklace and Wristband

Your Interchangeable Help Button easily “pops” into both your necklace’s pendant and wristband’s watch frame. Simply hold the framing between your thumb and index fingers to “pop” the button out in or out of either wearable. Your necklace or wristband may serve as a discreet backup for when your base battery runs low.

Charging Home 2.0

Prepare the Charge

1 Upon receiving your device, plug the Power Adapter into the wall outlet. To avoid accidentally turning off your device, do not plug it into an electrical outlet that is controlled by a light switch.

Power Device On

2 Press the red power button to turn on. The Smarti Voice Assist will light up solid green. When the device connects to the network, it will state “Device Ready.” Pressing the button will power off the device as well.

Adjust Volume

3 The red button on the back of the unit will emit a beep to indicate the volume of the device. There are 4 levels of volume which will each be indicated by a beep. Press the volume button until you’ve reached your desired volume.

Your Home 2.0 has accessible voice reporting and built-in testing capabilities

Pressing Your Info Button

 Press Smarti Voice Assist for one second to initiate reporting. After one beep, the device will verbalize “Release for device testing or continue to hold for the next option.”

Testing Your Device

 

If you continue to hold Smarti Voice Assist, testing will be triggered. The device will beep and say “Release for device testing or continue to hold for the next option.”

Press the Help Button for 3 seconds to test. You will be prompted to state your name to test the two-way microphone. When the test call has been completed, the device will say “Call Completed.”

If there is an issue with the device, Smarti will announce a code that will help our Customer Care team identify the issue. Please call 1.800.313.1191 to troubleshoot.

If the operator is unable to connect through the device, they will try calling you on your phone. Keep an eye on your phone in case it rings—it’s likely a call from us!

Using Your Lockbox

STEP 1: Enter your 4-digit, secret lockbox combination code

1 Grab ahold of the key lockbox with one hand so that the number dials are facing you and the shackle is pointing towards the sky. Rotate each of the four dials to the code on the combination tag.

STEP 2: Open your lockbox

1 Use one hand to grab a hold of the silver metal shackle. Use the other hand to pull the front compartment towards you.
